Wasn’t good advice from broker then  
he said as it’s declined  sometimes they will offer you around the original amount 
natwest haven’t pinpointed the refusal, just stated  affordability 

I'm not sure what other information you'd need - they think you can't / won't be able to afford to service the mortgage, and so they don't want to lend to you.

No bank is obligated to give people mortgages.

The information I’d like was have they declined because I was on furlough with agency or tax credits. But I understand rules are tighter than before. I’m currently paying for a mortgage £430 and the new mortgage would be £402 which comes out from NatWest too so all proof is there  

Are you buying a fresh property but your existing mortgage isn't portable or is too low a value, or are you seeking to remortgage for another reason? Who is your current lender - could you remortgage with them?
