E-Rewards account suspension and won't let me redeem

Just wondering if anyone else had had any issues and if they were resolved?

I've been a member of E-Rewards for years now and never had any issues, just popped on and did the odd survey when I had a few minutes.

During lockdown and until now I've been furloughed, so had a lot more time on my hands, and completed as many surveys as I can which has helped out a little, the nectar points contributing to either a bit of shopping or petrol.

I try not to leave any rewards sat in survey sites for too long and tend to withdraw them at the end of each month.

The last week of August I noticed I had not had any surveys at all, which was strange because some days I've had maybe 10-20 a day, I thought maybe they were having some kind of maintenance, but decided to go ahead and redeem my 5000 points I had sat there at the end of the month. It came up with an error and to contact them, so I sent an email just querying the lack of surveys and why I couldn't redeem. They responded saying they were sorry for the inconvenience and were looking into it. I then received another email a couple of days later informing me they were suspending my account indefinitely and I would be unable to redeem my points! I emailed back asking what reason they would have and they said they couldn't give me specifics, it may be something to do with accuracy and attentiveness. I responded again asking again for specifics, I've got over 5000 points in there and there was no way they could use that excuse for the amount of surveys that would result in that many points. They just came back with the same answer again.

I've read that one person kept on at their facebook page and had their account reinstated and their points back. I'm not too fussed about them having me back, but I do want to do whatever possible to get what they owe me.

the problem with survey sites is that if they think you are answering surveys too quickly ie should take 10 mins to complete and you do it in 2, they believe you are not being accurate and taking the survey seriously.

They also have the right to close your account and withhold your rewards, which is so unfair.

Were you completing the surveys too quickly?
Do what the other person did and keep on at them via their facebook page. There is no governing body for surveys, no one we can complain to that they are not being fair.
  • I would say I have got quicker at doing them where I've been doing so many, but not to the point my answers have not been accurate. I've had studies with them in the last couple of months where they have asked me back for multiple weeks, so they were obviously happy with my data then!

Thanks for your reply =) I'll keep on at the facebook page and update if I get any luck

yes you need to slow down. if it says 10 mins for survey and you know you can answer in 2, don't. I tend to go off and look at facebook or something then come back and continue just to space it out for the 10 mins
  • That's crazy isn't it! You get penalised for being efficient....
I think a warning explaining would have been fair, not just a ban!
Thank you though, I'll be sure to keep that in mind with the other survey sites! =)
