Hourly wage

I'm wondering if anyone can help to confirm my hourly wage. My monthly salary before tax is £1316 and I work 35 hours a week. I calculate that at £8.67 an hour,  which is below minimum wage I believe? Can anyone confirm that before I take it to my boss.
Thanks

Assuming you are  25 (or older) AND that you get paid holiday then minimum wage from April 2020 is £8.72 an hour

if salaried at £1316 then that is £15792py
    262 work days in 2020(5 day week)  7hr days  =  £8.61ph

as the number of working days a month can be different you will be under min 8 months months
it should be min wage per pay period not average over multiple pay periods.
    20 £9.40
    21 £8.92
    22 £8.55

    Definitely monthly salary, not 4-weekly?
Definitely working 35 hours a week (not, working 32.5 and get half an hour for lunch, for example)?
Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard
  • I get paid on the 20th of each month  and work 5 days a week 9-5 with and hours unpaid lunch

This seems like an oversight, it's £180 a year difference, not something employers would deliberately try to save really in the grand scheme; mention it to HR

they need to either top up your monthly rate to  23 days pay at min wage so no month goes under min wage.

or pay variable on the number of days  in the month
