Credit Club oddity

After getting my latest invitation from the MSE Credit Club to check my score, I was curious to see if finishing my mortgage had had any effect on my score. After viewing the result I was further interested to see my loan availability and was shocked to see I had 0% chance of a loan from Cahoot. Odd thing is, I've just got one to buy a new car! Oh, and another thing, I bank with Santander who would loan me money at 3% but Cahoot borrowed it for me, from Santander, for 2.8%. >:)Another nonsense from the financial world.

If you've just taken out a loan, it's perhaps unsurprising that your chances of acceptance for another with the same lender were zero.2

The biggest nonsense is that NOBODY has a credit score it's a made up number, what we all have is a credit history, a different thing, the fact that you have just had a loan for a new car is the reason you can't get another loan, you don't know for a fact that you could have borrowed at 3% apr from santander as only 51% of successful applicants get the headline rate.

I've been checking it every month, waiting for my score to hit 1000, but there it is, every time, stuck at 999.
Not exactly motivating me to try harder is it...2 -

Not exactly motivating me to try harder is it..."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein1 -
Just checked mine is 999 out of 999, you must have broke it. Interesting (or not) my clearscore credit score is only 520 out of 700.
Nothing to see here, move along.1 -
Mine used to be 520 but now is only 507, I have reprimanded myself and am currently looking into a 'credit score awareness course' in the hope of doing better1
