If we went into a full lockdown again do you think the government would offer a new furlough and SEISS 3 or would everyone just be high and dry this time?

The country can’t afford another lockdown IMO. We will have to battle through with local lockdowns only.
If the government say you can’t go to work, then there is a moral obligation on them to cover your wages/income.1 -
Couldn't afford the first one tbh! But they did it hoping it would just be a rough patch. It's now looking to be more than a patch. The only saving grace is that pretty much everywhere else in the world is the same. If it was just us, the economy would've collapsed already. Currently, not really any green pastures left for investors to escape to!Sibbers123 said:The country can’t afford another lockdown IMO. We will have to battle through with local lockdowns only.

Hard as it sounds , we need a good clear out of businesses. There were allot just hanging on before covid or badly run . Fresh start and all that. Also as someone else said UK cannot afford to continually throw money at this with no end in sight.1

Moral obligations only matter when the Government has morals. Just saying...
