Tax error?

Options
Good afternoon folks,
I went BR early February, I'm employed (PAYE)
I received a letter from HMRC stating I paid £10 too much tax and to expect a check in the post..

I've come home from work today to a letter from HMRC stating I owe them £827.00.
Tax payable : £4852
Tax paid :  £4862

Tax already repaid to me ££837.20

I've not received this or had it in my account.. Could this of gone to the OR for some reason??

HMRC are currently closed and I can't contact them until tomorrow.

Bricking it...

Anyone has issues like this??

None of that makes any sense!

But i wouldn’t worry unduly. It can’t be from this year, so must be from last year, and so covered in your bankruptcy.

HMRC did this to me after a bankrupcy by changing my tax code to claw back money whilst on a BR code for 4 months.

A phone call to HMRC and it was sorted, my tax code changed back for ny next monthly salary (along with the tax they wrongly took), and a £30 compo cheque from HMRC followed despite me not asking for it.

Ring HMRC tomorrow and explain the BR code was because of a bankrupcy.
