Online  items same as every year .
Grocery shopping in store 100% same as every year .
  • I do alot of online shopping as I live in a small town in South West, when I lived in a city I did very little online.  In lockdown I did pretty well 100% of grocery shopping on line, I am popping into local shop once or twice a week now but mainly still doing it online and have managed to buy a delivery pass starting this week which makes it even better.  I haven't had much trouble with substitutions and when I got three loaves of bread at 10 pm with use by date of the following day I phoned them and got a credit.  I used one, gave one to DIL and managed to squeeze the other into my rather full freezer so it ended up a bit squashed.  I didn't phone expecting a refund but just wanted to make the point that it was ridiculous to send things with that sort of use by date.

Nearly all my non-grocery shopping is online as always and now an increasingly large proportion of my grocery shopping is online as well (would have been even more if Amazon pantry had not closed).
  • People who refuse to wear masks without a valid health reason are, in my humble opinion, selfish.

The wearing of a mask is not to protect the wearer, but instead to protect those around you.

I personally wear a mask whenever I leave my house and for the entire time I am out to protect others. Sadly many do not seem to care about the wellbeing of other people so don't bother with a mask, or only put one on when forced to and even then usually as a chin warmer!

Let's hope we don't get a second wave of Covid-19 due to these selfish people.
  • I've just been to JDSports to buy trainers. I was told a women's 7 is a mans size (???) and although they allowed me to try on (mens) trainers, they told me to order women's trainers online and have them delivered to the store to pick up in 5-7 days. The world is crazy
  • All the same, since time does not particularly affect your habits (I also speak for food and clothes). As for me, after a certain amount for the product - the quality does not improve!
  • Online only CDs and books from Amazon, apart from occasional purchases such as John Lewis no longer stocking a make-up item - although I’ve since found this in a smaller shop! Would never consider clothing. Groceries only following foot surgery a few years ago.
