coldplayfan11 said:Hi, I am new here and not sure if I am posting in the right place.
I have been on lcw for roughly 3 years, then they asked me to go to an assessment roughly march 2020 but I handed in my evidence in January 2020. my assessments got canceled 3 times till June this year, which I passed for lcwra and got the extra money for that month. They are saying I am not due to backdated money which seems unfair, as if my assessment had went ahead last year I would of been receiving the extra money for that time. Thank youA new thread would have better rather than posting on the end of someone else's thread that's 10 months old.To answer your question, if you reported a worsening of condition and prompted the review yourself then you would be entitled to backdated money. If the review was prompted by DWP then it's from when the decision was made. You could state that if it wasn't for Covid then you may have been assessed earlier but this may not help. Even before Covid, backlogs were long.0
