That is just the way they word it. You were given an allowance of £60 but your actual "claim", what they say you are entitled to, is £0. You need to know why you are no longer entitled - these allowances are usually arranged by the employer.Buzzard1985 said:Claimed £0?

you dispute that, so the only way this will progress is for you to go through this with HMRC. It is a straightforward dispute, either you, or they, have made a mistake which won't be sorted by posting on an internet forum, it will be sorted by contacting HMRC0 -

I tried calling HMRC-no joy. I note they have a department for vulnerable folk dealing with their tax affairs. I would slip into that- though don't like vulnerable-others would disagree inc Police etc at times.
Emailed my MP to tie the ends up on this as HMRC must have had few ''contact us'' going by my track on my personal account- manic would be a word!0
