Tesco home delivery - previous purchases - saving substitute details?

Until the last week or two,  previous purchases added to a new delivery always carried across complete with the substitute options - including the added notes.

That doesn't happen now, and all the substitute details have to be entered all over again for each and every item.

Anyone else finding this?

I havent noticed any changes but then again I accept subs for everything as 99% of the time, it works in my favour, `very now and again though the note for my address disappears and they always tell me its because the system up dated which loses customers personalised notes on deliveries/orders etc

Thanks. It’s stopped doing that for me for some reason. Neither of two PCs, nor iPad.

Still having to re-enter the specific notes for the pickers for every single item, every week, despite having bought those same items, with the same notes, before.

Can’t understand why Tesco can’t rectify this. They just apologise and claim to pass it to their IT team.

With a big shop it’s an annoying waste of time.
  • Yes i agree with you, it's the same for me too.

Thanks. I wish they'd sort this out. It's a real time waster when you're trying to restrict the substitutions to what you're actually happy to accept.

Maybe that's why they've changed it. Maybe it makes it more time consuming for the pickers.

  • You could be right Doc_N. It is annoying though.

That's interesting.  You weren't affected before, were you.

The more I think about this the more convinced I am that it's a deliberate decision,  despite what they say.
