Precise mortgages and payday loans

I am driving myself mad reading loads of forums about mortgages and pay day loans.

We have sent our application off to precise through our broker and now it's the sit back and try and relax stage. That's impossible.

Has anyone had any positive outcomes with precise and who have had pay day loans?

I last borrowed Sept 19. So a year ago. But now things have changed, higher income, hardly any debt and my husband and I join incomes now. So our finicial situation could not be any different if we tried.

Please someone fill me with hope.

  • Have you applied to Precise just because of your payday loan history?
  • No i had some late payments, 2 years ago, so our broker tried high Street but we got turned down. So went for precise. My husbands record is squeeky clean. But mines all over the place.

I had a tough time in past with finances due to being self employed (which didn't work out) then onto an apprenticeship wage but that's all changed now as I'm in full time job which pays well and been like that for a year now. No late payments or PDLs since.

But obviously due to history being a mess precise seemed the only ones who would take us on.
    But have no CCJs/defaults etc.

I didn't have any recent late payments but I did have a historic default. I also had lots of payday loan usage. I think there was 17 on my credit file, the last one being 5 months before application.
We have a mortgage with a high Street lender. Maybe approach a broker on here to see if precise is definitely your only option. @haras_n0sirrah is a good one to go for, always very helpful x

It will depend if there are any late payments within the last 2 years. If the number of missed payments within the last 24 months is under 3 you may be able to get it onto the high street.

@Rach357 do you mind if I ask how you got on? Did they accept your application?
