I have just had both my class 2 and class 1 funded to me at a cost of 3.5k so it can be done.
Maybe speak to a driving agency and get a cover note saying they could offer you work if you had the licenses. I had a cover note from Pertemps and also the driver training academy who I am doing my training with give a guaranteed interview with DHL so that also helped. If you need any more info give me a shout1
