Won Deliveroo vouchers but they have given me less than stated in T&Cs?

Hi, I recently won £100 worth of Deliveroo vouchers from a social competition. I didn't know how to apply these vouchers as it looked like it took -£100 off my order (which was around £20) so I looked at the original T&Cs on the competition post and the prize states £250 worth of credit for the one winner.

I asked DeliverooHelp on Twitter but they haven't explained how they work properly and that are standing by the £100. Are they allowed to do this?
I realise it does say that Deliveroo reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the Promotion and/or rules if necessary. So I am assuming they can actually change the amount?

  • Well its clear to me from their own terms and conditions that the prize should have been £250.
Submit a tweet just to Deliveroo (not help) to see what they say - otherwise find someone at the company to complain to.

So you don't have the remaining balance of the voucher to use?
  • I tweeted the Deliveroo twitter...they are currently ignoring me after saying that it is £100 still...and that 'only 1 can win the £250'...but I was the only winner?

I'm not sure how it works tbh! I put the voucher code on and it says -£100 on the checkout page. I literally just want to know I will have credit after I pay but they are ignoring that also.

I'm wondering whether to wait now though for an email back from support which says 24 hours...
  • Just to double check - you're sure that those terms and conditions relate to the specific competition that you entered?
  • Yeah it was the National Burger day competition, these were the ones posted with the original competition Twitter and Instagram post
  • This is the competition post

  • How strange! Looking at their twitter feed I can see that you've DMed them, let us know what they say?

Still being ignored. Not sure if its worth pursuing, feel a bit unsure of complaining about it since I've still got something and its free.

I'd have thought there would be somewhere under your account or payment section to add a voucher, rather than adding it at the checkout when you order.
  • My credit has actually gone into my account so its fine now. But don't think I'm getting the £250 as stated as they are still ignoring my messages...
