Good afternoon MSE community!
Any parcel delivery drivers over here? My nephew got redundant and looking to become a delivery driver. Just want to help him and gathering info about BEST and WORST delivery companies to work for.
Any experiences, ideas, advises?
Thanks in advance!

All are horrible long hours and low pay unless you can get a permanent job with one of the better known firms DHL etc0

I reckon so. I saw a 60 odd year old lady delivering Amazon parcels on a Sunday a while back. Compared to the young lads who run to the door she'd driven down a one way road and was sat there flapping around with her mobile app etc. I'm guessing the job centre pushed her into it. avoid unless you can get a proper legit job ( probably unlikely unless you have experience?) or you just won't make any money because they push all the risk and costs onto you these days.0

Hermes are good because you can just dump the parcels anywhere
