Flexible working from home opportunities - where to look?

My mum has recently been made redundant due to covid. Unfortunately she has cancer so finding further employment I guess is going to be difficult, especially in the current climate. Ideally due to her treatment and covid, working from home would be best suited to her with some flexibility to allow her to rest when needed (on the odd day/s she has a bad day) and attend medical appointments. Her previous roles have included; ordering processing, income collection, tracing people, customer services, working in call centres.
Any genuine working from home suggestions we could look into?

Local Authorities work from home, maybe a field to look at, as they have a raft of departments, such as Customer services, finance, call centre etc.0

Search 'Remote Working' on Indeed0

Yes its surprising at how many customer service rolls are now WFH, I applied for a hotel reservation call "centre" which was all working from home, as long as you had a laptop, stable internet and a quite location there are opportunities. However be very careful it is a legit company and not an MLM. Don't give any money for "set/start up fees".[Deleted User] said:Search 'Remote Working' on IndeedThanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. call centre work these days is highly competitive, you can expect to do 100+ calls a day and that's why I suspect they want people sat in an office with management literally breathing down their necks. I've not seen any work from home opportunities for such work my self. Most of the people working from home since COVID are probably just there until the free cash from the government dries up let's be honest.0

There is software now that monitors call rates, turnover etc, so they do work from home, as performance can be monitored remotely.srpsrp said:call centre work these days is highly competitive, you can expect to do 100+ calls a day and that's why I suspect they want people sat in an office with management literally breathing down their necks. Plenty of customer service people who were working from home prior to COVID and will doubtless continue to do so.srpsrp said:call centre work these days is highly competitive, you can expect to do 100+ calls a day and that's why I suspect they want people sat in an office with management literally breathing down their necks. OP, the key is to look for 'remote working' or similar - searching on 'work from home' tends to bring up the scams/avoid like the plague 'opportunities'1
