Updating payment card details for Oyster auto top up, Anyone having problems

I am unable to update details of the credit card I had designated for payment of my automatic Oyster top up. I contacted TFL customers services last week and was told customers using Google Chrome were having a problem. When I said I was using Safari he had no idea why and couldn’t help. I’ve tried again today using a different card but won’t update.
Is this TFLs way of making people use other ways of paying?  I really don’t want to be going doing top up manually.
Anyone have a solution ?

You got a hint from TfL. Have you tried using a different browser?

No. It isn't TFLs way of making you pay differently. I normally use Chrome but keep both Opera and Edger on my computer for situations like this. You could also try Chrome's incognito mode.
