Are you sure about that lilac? In Italian espresso means "pressed out".
When you use a cafetiere (what Americans call a French Press) the coffee is under pressure but it isn't espresso.

I think it means "Forced Out"
fyi - latte espresso is not a coffee - it is produced using a breast pump!15 -
It’s all a bit confusing as it could be either according to Wikipedia as it says ” boiling water is forced under pressure“ so not sureHad a long break from comping but am back
