I may be being thick but the scoring system is odd
I had this
A book
5 words
So I pressed "sounds like" on the last word and it came up with "High"
I then pressed "Clue" and it came up with "Wheat"
So I guessed Rye
I put in the answer "A Catcher in the Rye" and got 500 points for guessing it right.
The next one was a play and had 3 words
I then randomly chose any old thing until I had chosen all the clues, and got 4000 for not even guessing it...
Whats the deal on the scoring system?!?!Digital Camera - Real People Issue 23

I'm confused by scoring too - I actually finished 4th in last weeks' comp through lots of trying yet some guy called Gaz88 is getting huge scores and I don't understand how! Anybody know how to beat this game?
Also, when do you get your winner/prize confirmation? Been a couple of days since last winner board reset - thought I might have heard something by now.:j:T Total Prize Value 2012 - £1835 :T:j

Well done Bezzza. I can't work the scoring system out either. There are bonus points hidden behind the clue buttons but they seem to be random. How on earth did you get up to 4th place?

This game makes no sense!! The first time I played I hadnt a clue what I was doing and got 9000 points, the second time I guessed two of them correctly and ended up with 7000 at the end....Whats the scoring system on this?Win £2008 in 2008 no #49 £601.91/£2008

I think it's just blind luck with this game - the highest I kept getting was around 9,000 then suddenly I got almost 12,000 (that's how I managed to finish 4th) but I still don't understand how people can score over 18,000. Maybe the longer you play, the more sorry the game feels for you so you get high scores - that's what must have happened to me cos I was rubbish! ha ha:j:T Total Prize Value 2012 - £1835 :T:j

Lol, very addictive, want to slap the woman though lol. I found answering them gave me hardly anything so I just uncover all the clues and get about 200-300 extra at the end for getting the word without typing. 9800 highest so farWin £2008 in 2008 member's club number 302008: Iguana, 2 x Cadbury DVD, 3 x Book, Mascara, Chubby Brown DVD, Asterix Wii Game, 3 Beanie Hats, Bag, Armband,
