Denplan and COVID-19

While Covid 19 had all dentists shut down due tolockdownm including my dentist I was unable to get an appointment, I left emails and tried to ring but no luck. But I have also been paying into a denplan.
Does anyone know the situation around lockdown and payments with a denplan as the terms of the service could not be supplied?

That's an interesting question. Denplan covers emergencies (at any dentist) so if I'd had a dental emergency during lockdown I would think I would have got treatment, therefore I had to pay. But yes I missed a checkup and scale/polish that I feel I paid for.
My dentist did send frequent updates via email so I knew what was happening with their surgery.0
