ITV competitons

Has anyone entered those ITV competitons where you have to pay £2 or so to enter? or more importantly has anyone worked out the odds and if it is worthwhile? Any information kindly apprecitated thank you very much

ITV competitions are a major money maker for them and get over 1,000,000 entries a week, most competitions seem to run for 2 weeks or longer and many of them are combined  - the one with fewest entries is probably "D real deal" but that also has the smallest prizes  -  wouldn't surprise me if the main morning one which seems to be on 2 or 3 shows and often runs for several  weeks has somewhere over 2 million entries and possibly far more than that, and maybe pays around £150,000 (although not all cash).
A bet on the 49's to match all 5 numbers has odds of about 1.9 million/1  and depending on the bookmaker £2 would return £320,000.

i dont know about the odds but there has been quite a lot of itv winner on the forums here, so better odds than the lottery 

..but i wouldn't recommend the free postal entry route, there has been some reports in the news recently and in the past, that they don't bother including them to the competitions..no idea if things have changed  but i've never heard of anyone winning itv comps via post.

I've heard of winners who have entered via postcard and the missing entries affected 6 comps out of 2000 which is a tiny amount.
