I'd clear your debts before you start trying to take out more credit.
Best starting by owing nothing before big purchases.2 -

I’d agree with the point above, you’ll not get anything decent for £1,000 nowadays, so you’ll need to budget some money and time to get it working, plus a few hundred for helmet, jacket, boots and gloves.1

I have the gear. I'm looking at saving until October and getting the loan of £1000 for something around 2-3k. I have a CBT, looking for a 125. That's hoping the court date goes fine. (Check my other thread)0
