Had some rain here overnight (London) which my garden very much appreciated!
Hows it going being back in the office? Might have missed it but are you back full time in office or mix? I'm on a mix of home and office, already feeling the temptation just to buy lunch and coffees out...fortunately husband went back to work last week (he's a teacher) so back into a routine of preparing the weeks lunches on Sunday!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!
OP Goal 2022 = 3.75% in OPs: £6,975 / £13,200

I'm back full time. I'm quite enjoying it again truth be told.rugbymadfamily said:Had some rain here overnight (London) which my garden very much appreciated!

I make packed lunches for the other half so I make mine at the same time. Doesn't take any longer really.
It's quite a walk from our office to the nearest shops thankfully. We are not city centre based so the temptation isn't really there to get lunches out.0 -
Yeah am also enjoying being back in an office (not sure how long that will last haha!). I'm right in the middle of town so lots of temptation, been trying to come up with some tasty but easy lunch ideas so I look forward to my lunch and don't think about all the yummy food options 😂 I've also bought my own cafetiere and coffee in so I can have a decent coffee (standard coffee from the machine in the office is terrible!).Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

It will be a no spends day today.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a pizza on the sofa watching a couple of films with a few beers.
No jobs to do around the house tonight. We have a friend coming over to stay tomorrow so we will have a clean up and tidy round tomorrow morning instead before they arrive.0 -
It will probably be a spendy day today.
We have a friend over to stay today so we are going to a couple of our local pubs and will have a take out curry tonight.
Bacon and egg sandwich from stores for breakfast.
The dog must be tired he has let us have a lie in this morning. The other half has only just got up to put the kettle on.3 -
Have a great day 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It will be a low spends day today. Need to go to the farm shop and get some fruit and vegetables and nip to the supermarket.
Not doing much today. A few bits of cleaning and taking the dog for a walk somewhere.
We had a great day yesterday. Looking forward to a quieter day today.0 -
So much for a quiet day.
The other half has gone to drop our friend back home, he doesn't drive and public transport to here is an absolute nightmare.
So I decided to run the vacuum round, cut the grass, do the dusting, there is a load of washing in and a load of bedding ready to go in.
The other half is going to the farm shop on his way back so that is one less job for me. Still need to do the supermarket though and we need to take the dog out somewhere.
It's non stop!1 -
@rugbymadfamily haha laughing at the instant coffee in your office. Last guy I employed made me laugh in his interview apparently he’d heard we have a pro coffee machine in the office and liked the sound of that - icing on the !!!!!! cake for wanting to change jobs apparently lol. Decent coffee wins fee earning staff.
@RelievedSheff hope you at least managed to have a relaxing Sunday evening mate.2 -
It will be a no spends day today.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was a bacon and egg bagel to use some leftovers up from the weekend, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is rib eye steak with chips, onion rings, garlic mushrooms and corn on the cob.
I'm definitely having a quieter day today. Didn't seem to have two minutes to myself yesterday. No jobs to do after work today other than walking the dog.1
