Hi, I am looking for some information about our chances of getting a HSBC mortgage. I work in the NHS part-time and I am also self employed (2 years books). My husband is self employed, director of LTD company.
We recieved our Agreement in Principle for the amount we want on 03/08/20, full application submitted on 14/08/2020 via a HSBC mortgage advisor. Our application is with the underwriters. Im so nervous about it not going through because of our self employed status and some debt. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Your personal circumstances are going to be different to other applicants. Makes the outcome difficult to forecast.1

Depending on your tax returns, and debt and company performance it will be all assessed by the underwriters,
Other people getting a mortgage with HSBC does not imply you will get 100% success. It is individual and specific, no one application is the same"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
