Is it worth porting a mortgage if only 6 months left

Looking to move house so will be arranging to borrow more , my current 5 yr fixed has 6 months left to run , current Lender isn’t Offering the best rates is it worth porting to save £1.2k or just cutting loses and go with best deal on market?

    Might it be cheaper to stay with current lender and get their best 2 year fix before just leaving might be worth seeing a broker

    By the time you market your property, find another and go through the legal process 6 months may well have passed.
