Hi all
I am expecting my mortgage offer (hopefully) in the next day or so... I noticed that it said Miss and I go by Ms in my solicitors documents etc. so as I also bank with HSBC I called accounts and had it changed today... didn’t think much of it... but now I am panicking (and kicking myself) as scared that this will impact the application. I have no idea what came over me...
does anyone have any views please?
thanks in advance...

Makes no odds with the title being Miss, Ms, Mrs for a female, lenders go off first, middle, surname.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Congrats for your mortgage offer. Wait till you start 3-4 months of conveyancing!1

My wife goes by Ms Maiden Name at work (so on all payslips etc) and Mrs Married name with the bank, on the mortgage etc. We provided our marriage certificate to our Mortgage Advisor and Solicitor right at the start and no one ever questioned the different names.
I wouldn’t worry about the title. Congrats on the Offer, best of luck with everything else.1 -
thank you @SuperHung and @Grabs39
I was told that the offer will need clearance from valuation and will be approved. The valuation was done previously and the house undervalued by 15k so I thought it would be automatically inputted but still anxiously waiting...
in relation to the conveyancing process, this is nearly complete itself... we had to get started as it took 4 weeks to get a mortgage appointment in the first place... (after 3 weeks of our poor broker trying to get into 90% LTV for HSBC).I hope you are both doing well and have a lovely day 😊0
