Breach of Data Protection

I have discovered that my employer has incorrectly informed my pension scheme that I have changed home address; so for the last 2 years, my pension statements have been sent to this random address. The pensions scheme have admitted this breach of data protection in writing to me. I have only discovered this mistake as I have recently made enquiries as to why I have no longer been receiving statements. Would anyone be able to advise if I have a claim for compensation for this mistake, with the risk of identity fraud being committed?
Many thanks

No. You haven't suffered any loss, so nothing to be compensated for.  It's all fine.

Errors do not automatically result in redress.   Human error is expected.

Unless you believe you are now at an increased risk of fraud (and nothing you have said so far suggests you are) and you have not suffered any financial loss then you would not expect any compensation.

This is not a data protection breach. It would be if they informed someone else of your address or provided your pension scheme with personal data you didn’t authorise and/or they didn’t need to manage your pension. It’s an error that’s all.
