Anyone here recently moved or moving and poring their mortgage with santander know what deposit is required?
Having different answers from brokers whether its 15, 10 or 5 percent deposit that's required?

Deposit can be determined from the new product you are applying for. The fact that you are porting has no relevance to the new product you choose.1

You apply for a new mortgage for the amount you need. At completion of the sale/purchase the old rate is transferred to the new mortgage. If you are borrowing more, you chose a new product for that amount based on the overall LTV at application stage.I am a mortgage broker.
