NHS - verbally accepted job but invited to interview for other NHS role

Hi. I've recently verbally accepted a Medical Secretary role within NHS and awaiting my pre-employment checks (so no unconditional offer yet). However, just been invited to other interview (as applied for a couple) within NHS for my much preferred job. I am guessing it would be ok to go ahead with this interview as no conditional has been made yet for the other? Anyone else been in this position with NHS? Thanks.

If you have accepted a role at the same NHS Trust location it could be embarrassing if any of the interviewing staff for the 2nd job were involved in the process for the job you have already accepted.

Contact the trust HR team and ask if it would be allowed.0
