Receipt Hog Closing

Just had this email from them:

"We’re sorry to say that Receipt Hog will be closing to UK users at the end of September. However, AC Nielsen Company Limited (“Nielsen”) has partnered with a new app called STOREWARDS where you can earn rewards similar to the ones you’ve come to know and love from Receipt Hog, including up to 10,000 bonus coins just for signing up with the same email address you use for Receipt Hog. 

Normally, we only share aggregated or anonymized data with external partners. However, we would like to make this transition as easy as possible, so do we have your consent to also share your email address along with your associated Receipt Hog data with Nielsen so they may contact you and help you get started?

Please note: transitioning to this new app will not transfer your current coin balance, which you should just cash out in Receipt Hog as normal."

10k bonus coins isn't to be sniffed at, assuming they have the same value as they did with Receipt Hog, that's nearly £50.

No its only £1.
This new one is loads more generous & can cash out on £2

12,000 coins in Receipt Hog is worth a £50 Paypal voucher.

Are you saying that's worth £1 on the Storewards app?  It's more what I'd expect to be fair.

Are you saying that's worth £1 on the Storewards app?  It's more what I'd expect to be fair.

It's not like for like in coins

Store rewards you cash out on 22,000 for £2 or 100,000 for £10

You now get 600 points per receipt

Also when you cash out, you no longer have to wait a few days. It's instant

Receipt Hog had to be the worst of all the receipt scanning apps out there. I was always surprised it seemed so popular.

I only used it, cos might as well if doing all the others. Wasn't worth it just on its own

I've installed the storewards app but struggling creating an account I can put my name email etc but no submit button Any ideas please?

I see store rewards has now removed the PayPal option & is now amazon voucher only (which are slightly more generous than the cash option)

Yeah back on mine also. 
Wonder if there is a weekly limit to how many they pay out or something?
