Good Day to all, I am one of the unfortunate Crew members working on a ship. My normal contract is 3 months on/3 months off. It is stipulated in my contract that should i be extended for any reason, I am entitled to a 50% bonus. I have had to extend my contract by a further 3 months (6 months in total). I have a union, and they have told me that as far as my contract goes, I am still entitled to my Bonus as per my contract, However, the company are refusing to acknowledge it. Each time that I have had to extend my contract (5 times now), I am required to sign an Addendum which clearly states that all my terms and condition to my original contract will remain in effect i.e Bonus.
Can anyone advise as to the best course of action to take or advise the best way to proceed forward?
Many thanks for reading

Go back to your union and ask them to pursue it on your behalf.1
