Go to the Virginmobile website, fill in the form and, provided stocks are still available you should receive a Virgin pay as you go sim card including £5 free credit within 2 weeks. It's limited to one per household so check your post before the others in your house otherwise you may be fighting over it!

Hope I'm not repeating what someone else has posted. However I just came across the following.
Virgin Mobile are offering a free £5 SIM card. All you have to do is apply via the URL below.

Advertised under the terms of "when it's gone, it's gone".
