Money shop are currently paying out I believe, if that’s your redress, you must have had a lot of loans as the company are in liquidation, and you will only receive a fraction of what was owed, info here ~

    No it’s all correct.

but expect the actual redress to be probably below 10% of that. I also got my email tonight.

you can expect your final redress figure in January and payment next May.

better than kick in the teeth.

i had 8 loans and my redress was about £1400.
  • Just visiting for the same reason, my redress figure is £6750 !!

Dont get to excited lads, i am in the same boat from 2010-2012. Redress amount of £2400. However i am been told they will be paying 4p per pound. So expect nothing.

And that 4p per £1 may reduce, depending on how many people they have to pay out.

Don't spend the money before receiving it.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

It is quite a shame, when i saw the letter for £2400, i was quite excited before i saw the finer details
  • When I submitted the claim I expected to get absolutely nothing so even 1% (£70 in my case) would be warmly received.

What that figure has done for me is highlight just how deep a hole I was and it wasn't even all that long ago.
