    Meal allowances are purely down to what's agreed between employer and employee - and HMRC has pretty strict rules on what's taxable and what isn't. The rates are probably much lower than you think.

    If the company mobile is an essential tool of the trade and is only being used for its intended purpose, then the employer, or you as the client (depending on your agreement with the care workers' employer), should be paying for any top up.
