I have a good credit rating now! But am working on reducing overdraft bit by bit. Its only 1100 now, so not horrificThrugelmir said:Unfortunately your credit history is set in stone. Improving it going forward needs to be a priority objective. The reference to the overdraft usage in particular.0 -
Forget the score. Lenders look at the factual history when processing applications. How personal finances are managed tells the lender a lot about the potential borrowers.mitt123 said:

It’s the CO-OP that’s all 😊 and yeah it’s going to cost us 5.8k. So I’d rather the NW do it for us lolmitt123 said:Yes, he is busier than ever. He has also been told at mo not to take second grant.
Our mortgage advisor said we were easily within the affordability but they were concerned about our monthly outgoings. Our parents have offered to clear debts but MA has said this isnt necessary?
Its going to cost us 5k to buy out of nationwide 😫

My partner and i had ro withdraw from our purchase because nationwide declined our mortgage on the grounds of being in my overdraft during lockdown (£1250 but was cleared at the time of application), they said we were using the seiss as part of deposit even though we had other funds available for deposit)0
