Just returned to work to find my employer has changed my job title and role without discussing it with me or offered an explanation, the new role is nothing like my old one a completely different job I have spoke with my management but they seem reluctant To say or just don’t know why and no one seems to be able to offer me a job description on as to what I will actually be doing any advise please ?

It sounds as if your old role has become redundant and your employer has unilaterally decided to keep your colleague in the existing role and find a new role for you.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1

If your employer has made your role redundant, I think there's supposed to be a consultation first.0
