HSBC change of Property

Hi,
After our lower valuation we have now had an offer on another property which is £10,000 less than what we was buying. Anyone know what the process is to change property and borrow less? Is it a new application and credit search? New documents needed etc?

We're in the same situation. Found a new property and had an offer accepted for £20k less than the original one we'd found.

Our broker told us that it's easy to change the property details on our application. Just the new valuation that's needed.

My broker Submitted our change form this morning. have you heard back from HSBC? I’m wondering how long they will take to review?
