Vat refunds for returning migrant worker

Hello all,
I'm due to return to my home country in a few months after working for 2 years in the UK. I was considering purchasing a few items that I would take back home, and make a saving by claiming back the vat.
When I do return, the item may not necessarily be with me on person. I'll be flying back and larger items furniture etc will be shipped back home, so the item will be on a container somewhere in the ocean.

The gov.uk website lists the ffg as not applicable for vat refund
"goods that will be exported as freight and goods that need an export licence (except antiques)"

Would my items fall into this category and hence not eligible for vat refund?

Thanks
Kind regards
Talha
