HTB Mortgage and furlough

Been having some issues with getting a new mortgage offer at the moment due to COVID and furlough for a new build that we were due to exchange on prior to lockdown. Just wondering if anyone knew whether it was possible for some to guarantee a HTB mortgage e.g. parents, if one of the mortgage applicants was on furlough and therefore now finding it difficult to get a formal offer from a lender (despite previously having been accepted)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you get a reputable mortgage advisor. There’s a few on this forum so have a look and maybe approach them ( I don’t think they can approach you).

I'm fairly confident that there are no help to buy mortgages that allow a guarantor unfortunately.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
