Full and final hoping it won't reset the clock on other debts that are almost SB

I have 2 debts both with lowlife
I have a 40 % off offer on both but I only want to settle one as the other I believe is unenforceable.
I can either call or register online to settle it.
My question is if I settle 1 account number can I reset the clock on the other debt ?
If I register online im worried it will reset the clock.
If i call and settle will that reset the clock.
I don't have time to play letter tennis sadly so those are my options.
Advice greatly appreciated 🙏

It shouldn’t as it’s a different debt. But they may then contact you about the other one regardless. Why is it unenforceable? SB or no CCA?
Personally I’d have everything in writing especially a settlement offer. I’d post it recorded & keep all their replies - you want a written agreement that the debt is closed & they won’t sell it on or chase further.0 -

The other debt is coming close to SB in Oct and its a telecommunications account which was terminated 6 and half years ago. The default was added much later so im willing to fight that case.

One will not affect the other, also a debt cannot be counted as been acknowledged verbally, only payment or written acknowledgement can reset the time clock.
