The main search is littered with comp threads in uppercase.
Whilst it's great to post comps, there's no need to shout.

I would usually edit the title if it was all in caps.
I'm not saying posters should edit them since they're taking time out of their day to post the comps for everyone else so, as far as I'm concerned, they can do it whatever way they see fit :)
You can quickly and easily change the case here though : https://convertcase.net/
Just paste the text in and click "Sentence case" and copy it again

They aren't shouting. It's just uppercase. If you don't want to enter the competitions in uppercase then just ignore them.
Thanks to all the people who take the time to post competitions on this forum whether it's in sentence case, uppercase, lower case, basket case or hopeless case.

According to Netiquette (the unofficial rules for online posting), posting in uppercase is SHOUTING. It's a convention that evolved way back when, on Newsgroups and Chat Rooms, as I remember from the 14.4k modem days. In 1984, one user had to explain: “if it's in caps i'm trying to YELL!”

Personally I am grateful for any posts regardless of syntax; another of the old rules were that it is entirely up to the poster what and how they post and if you don't like it, ignore it.
Got to say, if I was posting one of the comps with titles in uppercase, I would also probably just cut and paste without converting to lowercase to save time.
  • Really? Something so petty considering all that is happening this year, bothers you that much? Be grateful someone posts a comp at all and don't get peeved at how the lettering is presented.
    August-September 2017: Lots of stuff :)

The case doesn't bother me in the slightest! I'm just grateful for anyone making the time and effort to share. I try to change to lowercase when I have time. But, when I'm in a rush, I do just copy and paste the prize name. Surely better to have it posted than not?!
