Tortured by Arrow and Resolve call

Hi can I please get some advice - I had an MBNA credit card in 2009 it defaulted and my last contact with arrow global was in 2013. They kept sending me letters until March 2020 and then an agent from resolve call called to my address and demanded I discuss the account. I told him that I have no account with Arrow/Mbna and he left a note saying he called. I immediately wrote a letter to both companies explaining the debt is statute batted and that any further visits or correspondence would result in me making a complaint to the FCA.
I got a letter back saying they would review their files. Resolve call visited again yesterday 19th August 2020 and again asked to discuss account. I refused to acknowledge it and he posted a letter through my door. Can I have some advice regarding my next steps as I do not want them visiting again and the debt is 100% statute barred. Thanks

Good Morning,Good old resolvecall eh, the reason why the guy is so persistant, is that all revolvecall`s "doorstep knockers" are self employed, and work on a commision basis, so if he dosen`t get money off you, then he dosen`t get paid either. Its best to ignore chappie at the door, write another letter, send it to Arrow Global, as they own the debt, again, emphercise the debt is statute barred, and any further attempts at collection by them or their client, will result in an official written complaint being sent, which will also result in FOS involvement, confirm they understand, and that the matter is now closed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Choices are ignore him, you could film him, look on youtube, there are loads of examples on there, leave him a letter pinned to the door telling him its pointless calling again as the debt is SB and you are not budging.Lets get one thing clear, he is just a collector, he is NOT a bailiff, he has no more, or less power, than you or I do, he cannot come into your home unless you invite him, your not obliged to discuss anything with him either.Sometimes its better to face up to them, be polite, but make it clear that you will not change your position on this, and that he is in the wrong, best not to get into protracted conversation though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. is that all revolvecall`s "doorstep knockers" are self employedhttps://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Reviews/Resolvecall-Reviews-E1718556.htm
Says they are on a base salary i.e. employed. But are commission driven.
Raises the issue of whether the FCA approve of commission driven employees in these circumstances. You might want to raise a complaint using the commission as an issue and see what the Financial Ombudsman says.- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.
