What have you been drinking then?0

That does not surprise me at all.
The lenders are beginning to realise that what they have done to date is actually illegal.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -

Well the website suggests that it is still available on personal loans and credit cards.0

Why would they only sell a very profitable product online and not in branches?
Doesn't make sense - you would have thought the media would have picked up on this if it is true.
Can anyone verify any of this?
Anyone applied to HSBC for a loan or card today??0 -
I work for a retailer who uses credit. We are no longer allowed to offer or even mention PPI but the customer will be contacted by letter to offer it to them. Presumably non face to face selling means that everything is in the paperwork and there can be little chance of mis-selling as the customer has read everything and signed to say so.0
