LMS & HSBC Mortgage

Hi All
I received my mortgage offer from HSBC on Monday and I was told they now send the offer to LMS (who seem to work with most lenders but I am not too sure of their exact role) and then from LMS my offer goes to my conveyancing solicitor to accept on my behalf/act on.
Does anyone know if I'll receive anything from LMS or what they actually do?
I don't think there is anything left for me to do now but just want to be sure.
Thanks

I think they're one of the low-cost, high churn conveyancing firms.  Did you get "free legals"?
  • I'm not sure... I think along with the booking fee there was a couple of hundred pound for their legal costs?

    So are LMS HSBC's conveyancer?
