Advice Please! HSBC Mortgage Direct v Broker

They also did similar work last week and according to my broker, the systems seemed more stable but the ratio of available 90 LTV products to brokers applying is still as high (if not higher). It's pot luck whether the broker get's the application in and after 5 weeks of trying, me and my broker has lost all faith! Good luck to anyone else though, hopefully more 90 LTV lenders will become available and demand will drop.Cscott139 said:Apparently HSBC are doing some work to their broker systems today to improve the user experience in regard to obtaining higher LTV products. For all of you dealing with a broker trying to get one hopefully this may help.0 -

I hope you get sorted. I went direct because the Broker I had a very initial discussion with wouldn't use HSBC. After a fee IT issues with their website, I waited two weeks for a Zoom appointment (10% deposit mortgages can't be non-advised) - I was approved during the appointment on 13th July, valuation done couple of days later, full offer received 18th July and I completed last week. Good luck!0
