I applied for a job on indeed posted by a recruitment agency, I got a call from an 0203 number about wanting to register me on their books.
He told me there's a position for me and to register with them and I got an email asking for my driving licence (as the job is a delivery driver), my national insurance number and proof of identity (passport or birth certificate).

I perhaps stupidly sent this info through without researching the agency, they're on linkedin and social media but literally only a dozen followers and 0 engagement. The company is registered on companies house for 1 year and is listed as active.

A reverse search of the phone number shows comments mostly neutral and positive comments like "work experience company, training, recruitment agency" etc but two of the 10 comments say stuff like "collect your personal info then don't ever call you again" and "promise work after registering but nothing".

Really worried I've been scammed, I spent 3 years building up my credit history and if I get my ID stolen and my credit wrecked I honestly don't know what I'll do. Is there any preemptive measures I can take just in case?

Oh and their website is coincidentally under maintenance...

You haven't been scammed, but you have the potential to be as you're free and easy with your personal information.

Just take more care in future.

It's how the lower end of recruitment agencies operate.

They can't be sure but it's not an unreasonable guess. Just keep an eye on bank statements etc for the next few months.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
