Hi all.

I have a ccj thanks to my ex which was only discovered once we done a credit check! This has now ben settled for just under a year.

Can anyone recomend a ccj mortgage broker?

I've personally used @ACG due to my adverse history.
Others have used @haras_n0sirrah some have used @Deleted_User
You can approach the brokers who post on here, they cannot message you first.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Any experienced broker should be able to look at this for you. They will need a copy of your credit file so they can see full details of the CCJ and cross reference this against the lenders criteria as things have tightened up a bit recently. How much was the CCJ for and when was it registered?

I think you will need to wait another year as 2 years minimum is the "best" i have seen lender accept.

Check with a MA but expect to wait until oct 2021
  • It will depend on what it shows, how long ago, how much, when settled. A broker will need a copy of your credit report to determine the mortgage available and the rate. Those of us who are independent mortgage brokers who post here are not allowed to approach posters but most of us are happy to respond to pm's asking for help
  • If the CCJ is £300 you may be able to get near high street rates. A lot of lenders have a cut off where if it is below a figure then they are a lot more generous
