Should I request CCAs for my debts?

Hi Everybody,
Hoping to get some advice on moving forward with my debts. I have two; one for around £2,000 and one for around £2,500. Both were credit cards and have defaulted (in late 2016/early 2017), and are now owned by debt collecting companies. One of the debts I've been paying around £20 a month on for the last two years, and it's now reduced to a little under £2,000. The other I've not yet dealt with, but I think ignoring it is probably a bad idea, and the company have been making attempts to contact me, mostly infrequent with the occasional slight flurry of activity (all phone calls, they haven't sent a letter for a year or more now). I obviously don't want any kind of CCJ or court activity, so I'm looking at next steps on both debts.

Is it a good idea in this position to request CCAs for both? The account I've been paying off was opened in early 2013, but the account I haven't yet dealt with was opened in early 2009. I'm wondering if there's any downside to at least acknowledging they've been after me and asking for the CCA on the 2009 debt, and possibly the 2013 debt too? There's enough templates online for me to do it properly, but I wanted to get more experienced opinions before moving forward.

Assuming I do request CCAs and the paperwork comes back in order, should I then look at offering some kind of full and final settlement? And is it possible to do that on both debts - even the one I've been paying? There's a chance I may have a bit of cash to offer, but couldn't hope to pay off the whole of either debt in full at the moment. I guess that's something I could explore if and when the time comes - for now I guess I just need to know what people think regarding requesting the CCAs and getting all the paperwork on both debts, and is there any upside/downside to going this route in my position?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice - I really appreciate it!

You seem to have a plan there and it seems a good one: cca them both and then make full& final offers if they are enforceable.
You could try getting to the 6-year point on the one you have not been paying but you are only halfway there and they may try a court claim before 2023.
