Small Pot Lump Sum

Due to ill health, I was let go from my employer earlier this year. Followng this, I recieved forms regarding releasing my pension and I have selected the Small Pot Lump Sum option (it is less than £4,000). I am under the age of 55 so I'm not sure whether this is money which will be paid now or later.

If you are retiring medical grounds, supported by medical evidence from a registered UK medical practitioner, the small pot option can be paid at any age, so you can receive it now.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
