Santander mortgage & Survey

Hi all, just looking for advice and maybe reassurance! We submitted a mortgage application on 05/08/20 to Santander, and the survey has been instructed. Does that mean that the mortgage is approved, subject to the survey being fine? Thanks in advance of any replies!

Hey! Not sure to be honest. We submitted our Santander application on the 11th but haven’t heard anything yet. But going by their timescales it seems right. It would make sense to not send a surveyor out until the application is accepted but in a COVID environment it’s hard to say!

I submitted my BTL ( via broker ) on 24th July. Was agreed subject to survey within 24 hours. 

Survey was 11th August in the morning, and offer dispatched that afternoon!
