Yes I have the solaredge HW controller.  
As a single occupier of my house, my HW load is low.   It performs duty very nicely for maybe 1-2hours on a sunny morning - or all day during a cloudy day. 

Once the thermostat on the HW cylinder clicks off, then power is still available (as demonstrated by the neon light on the HW isolator switch), even though no load is being drawn.   If I switch my kettle on during a sunny period, then the HW neon light will switch off, and then switch straight back on once the kettle clicks off.   I don't have a temperature probe to check HW temperature, but I'm confident that it's doing it's job.
